Thousand Oaks Park Development Update

We are thrilled to say, after many months of hard work, with the support of our Councilmember, Don Rocha, and the willing collaboration of the San Jose Parks Department, we received notification this afternoon that our Thousand Oaks Park development project has been approved! We still need to meet with Parks Department personnel to sign necessary legal documents, after which we will work together with the Parks Department, our contractor, and the volunteer coordinator to schedule the actual work. We are so grateful to everyone involved, especially the Thousand Oaks neighborhood, for your constant encouragement, and your phenomenal financial support. Donations currently total $75,740. We are very excited to move forward, and will keep you posted as construction plans begin to take shape.
