Memorial Bench in honor of Bambi Larson

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

On February 28th, 2019, we lost our dear friend and neighbor Bambi Larson. For those who did not know Bambi, she was an extraordinary woman: intelligent, outgoing, caring, kind-hearted, generous, and a lover of both animals and life. Bambi always saw the best in every person. Many individuals have been very kind as to ask how they can contribute in her honor and name. Thousand Oaks Park was Bambi's home away from home. This is where she walked her dog Abby and socialized with neighboring dog owners. In order to remember her fondness of Thousand Oaks Park, we will be purchasing a bench through the City, who will assemble and place it. In addition, a commemorative plaque will be placed on the bench.

We have been in contact with Bambi's family and it has been decided that all extra funds from the collection will be donated to a charity of their choice, in Bambi’s name. Thousand Oaks Neighborhood Association (TONA) has agreed to collect all donations. Checks can be made out to TONA, and please reference Bambi Larson on the memo line.
